Xiaomi is continuously making smartphones for all budget ranges. On Wednesday Xiaomi also added one more smartphone to its list. Xiaomi launched its latest smartphone Mi A3. This smartphone is for people who don’t want bloatware on their phone, means this device comes with the Android One Program.
Mi A series is the cheapest series in India by Xiaomi. This series is well known for its pure android based experience. All the smartphones of A series contain the latest version of Android and also gets monthly updates directly from Google. Mi A3 is a fantastic all-rounder smartphone under Rs. 15,000.
First of all, looking at the design. The Xiaomi Mi A3 has a glossy finish design on the backside. Xiaomi Mi A3 is very well crafted and is a polished smartphone with curved glass and clean edges. The Mi A3 comes in three colors like More than White, Not just Blue and Kind of Grey. I personally like the white color. The Mi A3 is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as on the backside.
Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with a 6.08-inch Super AMOLED screen. The display has a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. This is an HD+ display, not a Full HD+ display. I think it should be a Full HD+ display because 6.08-inch is a bigger screen so you can see a lack of extra pixels in HD+ display, which is not good. Because it has a Super AMOLED screen, so the colors the very punchy and deep.
On the backside, Mi A3 has a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor. The secondary camera is an 8MP ultra-wide lens and the last one is a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, Xiaomi Mi A3 includes a 32MP selfie camera. The Mi A3 comes with lots of AI camera features to help users click better pictures in all lighting conditions.
We are really glad to see a powerful battery in Mi A3. Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with a 4030mAh battery with Type-C port which supports 18W fast charging. Battery capacity is enough for a full-day usage in a single charge.
Processor and Storage
Mi A3 has a brand new Qualmcomm’s 600 series processor. Which is Snapdragon 665 SoC and it is an 11 nm technology-based Octa-core (2 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 260 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 260) processor. Mi A3 comes in two different variants, the base variant has 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and the top variant has 6GM RAM + 128GB internal storage. You can expand the memory up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
With the last, A series device which is Mi A2, Xiaomi removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack and expandable storage option from the phone. But with the new Mi A3 Xiaomi bring them back. Even its not looking much boring as the Mi A2. This is the first A-series device with in-screen fingerprint Mi A3 uses 7th gen fingerprint sensor. There’s also AI-based face unlock support.
Xiaomi Mi A3 is available in two storage variant — 4 GB + 64 GB priced at Rs 12,999 and 6 GB + 128 GB priced at Rs 15,999. Xiaomi Mi A3 is available in three color variants — White, Blue, and Grey.
“Xiaomi’s brand new Mi A3 is a pretty good device. Even it fill fulled the major mistakes of Mi A2, as no 3.5 mm headphone jack and the MicroSD card slot. Mi A3 also has a premium-looking design which is really appreciated. One thing which I don’s like about this smartphone, it has only 720p resolution display while it should be 1080p at least. Even many other phones like Realme X, Vivo S1, and Oppo K3 has a better display resolution.”
