Vivo S1 was launched in India on 7th August, and here is all the information about price, specifications, and features that you need to know about the new Vivo S1. Vivo S1 was recently launched in China in March. and then its global variant was unveiled in Indonesia last month. The best features of Vivo S1 are its triple rear camera, 32 Megapixel selfie camera, MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, and 4500mAh battery.
Vivo S1 Design: Vivo S1 has a pretty good design, which is the primary thing on Vivo S1. The phone looks very impressive in all the variants, especially in Sky blue color. The phone is very lightweight even though it contains a 4500mAh battery. The smartphone comes in two different variants, Sky blue and Diamond black. Both the color gives the Vivo s1 premium look but I especially like the Sky blue color.
Vivo S1 Display: Vivo S1 has a large and clear display. The device offers a huge display, which is a Super AMOLED display of 6.38-inches. This is very glad to see a Super AMOLED display under the price range of Rs. 20,000. Vivo S1 offers a 19:5:9 aspect ratio for the display, 90 percent screen-to-body-ratio, and Full HD+ resolution. Vivo S1 comes with Schott Xensation 3D protection for the screen. Vivo claims that it is as strong as Gorilla Glass.
Vivo S1 Camera: The new Vivo S1 comes with the triple camera setup. The primary camera sensor is a 16-megapixel sensor. The secondary camera is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor. and the last one is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera setup on the Vivo S1 is average, neither is good nor bad. It’s decent and should get the work done.
On the front side, Vivo S1 has a 32-Megapixel selfie camera. This is very similar or other phones of Vivo, which also comes with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The selfie camera for the Vivo S1 is fine but could have been better. The S1 clicks average selfies with average details in normal mode but in the portrait mode is captures more details and blur the background very well.
Vivo S1 Performance: In the field of performance, Vivo S1 doesn’t score well. It performs well for day-by-day usage. when you come to play heavy games on the device , the phone shows some signs of stutters. day-by-day usage is well managed by Vivo S1 but while gaming and multitasking, it lags a bit. When too many apps are running in the background the Vivo S1 slows down. So it’s needed to clear the background apps.
Vivo S1 Battery: This device comes with a huge battery of 4500mAh, which gives you a long-lasting battery backup than expected. the Vivo S1 goes through everyday activities pretty well and lasts for 1.5 days on a single charge.
Other features: The new Vivo S1 comes with an in-display fingerprint. which is called ‘Flash in-display fingerprint’ by Vivo. as you can guess by the name this works very quickly than any other in-display fingerprint. Vivo S1 also has face unlock feature. The phone is running on FunTouch OS 9 which is based on Android 9 (Pie). FunTouch OS has some cool features like dark mode, smooth gestures and more. Vivo S1 also supports 18W fast charging which can charge your phone from 0 to 100 percent in just one hour.
Pricing: Vivo S1 comes in three different variants. The base has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, which is priced at Rs. 17,990. The other variant has 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, which is priced at Rs. 18,990. And the top variant has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, which is priced at Rs. 19,990.
My Opinions: Vivo S1 is a good looking smartphone, but I think that it’s overpriced. Even, we already have some great choices in the market like Vivo Z1, Realme X, Redmi K20, and Oppo K3. I think Vivo Z1 will perform better than Vivo S1.
